Fixes

General: Qt has been updated to 5.14.1. Windows: Handling of display scales other than 100%, 200%, 300% etc is finally correct. Support for the PLEX_SCALE_FACTOR workaround has been removed. Windows: Use OpenGLES3 for all Windows versions. Downloads: Fix root cause of “We were unable to prepare your download…” errors. Downloads: Displayed total download size updates during download. Downloads: Pref to delete watched episodes On next refresh would result in not deleting episodes for 100 days.

Important Announcement

Although Plex for Windows officially supports Windows 10 it has also worked on older Windows versions. We’re making changes to the application which require support for OpenGL version 3. Many older Windows systems use graphic drivers that do not support Open GL version 3.

Update: The requirements for Open GL >= 3 is not yet being enforced as outlined in the text below. We’ll update as plans develop.

Version 1.9.x will be the last version that supports graphic drivers supporting only Open GL version 2. We’ll disable automatic updates for affected users. Version 1.10.x will be the first version that requires Open GL version 3.
